Welcome!

I’m Eli (Elia) Brodsky, currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Office of Rural Health Transformation and Sustainability at the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH).

In this role, I lead strategy and sustainability planning for Louisiana’s $1.4 billion Rural Health Transformation Program, working with hospitals, universities and agencies across the state identify strategies that best address pressing challenges in rural Lousiana: access to care, quality of care and economics of rising costs for fewer insured patients.

My goal is for rural Louisianans to get good care close to home, and for the programs we build to keep running after federal funding ends.

Before LDH, I built a biotech company in New Orleans, led strategy at Ascension’s DePaul Community Health Centers, and taught at Tulane (School of Business) and Georgetown (School of Medicine).
