At the crossroads of education, technology, and data science, my journey has been quite the adventure! Together with my team, we co-founded a company that dives deep into genomic data analysis. But we didn't stop there - we created Omics Logic, an educational platform that makes learning data science as fun as a video game, especially for biologists and clinicians. Teaching at the University of Georgetown School of Medicine and high schools, I get to share the thrill of biomedical research, data analysis, and bioinformatics with students, sparking curiosity and creativity along the way.
Leveraging my experince in life sciences and biotechnology, I had many opportunities to speak with faculty, students and industry professionals about the latest innovation in bioinformatics and big data.
Working with researchers at Georgetown University School of Medicine, I developed a passion for education and contributed to a Master's Degree program in Systems Medicine with a focus on Machine Learning.
Early introduction into science for undergraduate and high school students connected me with Science Coach, a national non-profit that matches educators with talented students interested in research.
